L'Occident est-il prêt face aux menaces de l'avenir ?
Telle est la question posée par Thierry Burkhart, le Chef d'Etat Major des armées s'exprimant devant le Medef. Il n'a pas précisé cependant ce qu'est l'Occident aussi est-il bon de rappeler que l'Occident c'est une alliance militaire euro atlantique, l'Otan, et une civilisation anglophone, americano centrée étendue à une grande partie du monde à travers le commerce mondialisé.

Et tant que militaire le général s'est surtout intéressé à l'aspect militaire et économique du sujet mais il faut aussi et surtout ne pas oublier la spécificité culturelle et civilisationnelle de l'Occident. Le Chef d'Etat Major a déclaré "que l'Occident doit se préparer à des temps assez durs" du fait de "la récusation du modèle occidental" et de "la fragmentation de l'ordre international" Il parlait devant le Medef et non devant un cercle de généraux de l'Otan, et il a donc souligné l'importance de la guerre économique.
As a service man the general mainly put the focus on the military and economic aspect of the question but above all we should take into account the cultural and civilizational features of the West. The Chief of Staff declared “ that the West must prepare for somewhat hard times” because of" the recusation of the western model", and he evoked “ the fragmentation of international order”. He was addressing the Medef and not a meeting of Nato generals, that is why he insisted on economic warfare.
Mais justement, le tout économique n'est il pas contre productif ? Et ce modèle n'et-il pas rejeté par une grande partie de l'opinion mondiale parce que, à part l'économie, il est considérés comme sans valeurs ?
Tout autant qu'au Medef, le chef d'Etat Major ne devrait-il pas aussi s'adresser aux autorités morales, religieuses et spirituelles en Occident au sens large et particulièrement en France ? Et cela pour poser la question d'un réarmement moral et culturel sans lequel aucune guerre civilisationnelle ne peut être gagnée.

Just as much as he addresses the Medef, the Chief of Staff shouldn’t he also address moral, religious and spiritual authorities in the West at large, and specifically in France ? And he would do so to put the question of a moral and cultural rearmament necessary to win a war of civilizations.
Tel est l'enjeu en effet. et s'il ne l'est déjà, il serait bon que l'on mette au programme de l'école de guerre le livre de Samuel Huntington intitulé " Le choc des civilisations"
. Mais avec une réserve cependant, à savoir que l'unité civilisationnelle de l'Occident masque des intérêts divergents entre les USA et l'Europe de l'UE. En matière d'armements par exemple le drapeau otanien représente surtout les industries d'armement américaines et la diplomatie globale américaine, or l'Occident ne se réduit pas à l'Amérique. Enfin et surtout, en Europe l'Otan ne peut pas être la couverture d'un rapport à la Russie basé sur une convergence stratégique obsolète datant de la seconde guerre mondiale.

Après les élections présidentielles américaines la question de la paix en Ukraine refera surface et les Européens seront placés au pied du mur. Ils le seront dans l'urgence si Trump gagne, mais également tôt ou tard si les Démocrates restent au pouvoir. Une solution de paix sans eux reviendrait à faire exploser l'Union Européenne.
Mais cela évidemment notre Chef d'Etat Major ne pouvait pas en parler devant le Medef.
Il ne pouvait pas non plus évoquer l'avenir culturel d'un Occident de plus en plus menacé de l'intérieur par la décadence des valeurs traditionnelles et la subversion wokiste. Ceci n'est pas un autre débat, c'est même le cœur du sujet.

Neither could he evoke the cultural future of the West threatened within itself by the decline of traditional values and wokist subversion. This is not another debate, it is on the contrary the core of the question.
